1998 Honda CBR600F3
I bought my new CBR in late February of '05, with 17.5K miles on the clock. Aftermarket blinkers and Emgo mirrors, CBR gas cap decal, Ariete flame grips, Tirefly valve caps, a really bad hack job on the rear fender, and some road rash were inherited from the previous owner. Thankfully, a Two Bros carbon fiber slip-on was on the bike too. I kept the blinkers, will be replacing the crappy mirrors soon, and removed the silly Tireflies. Replaced the grips with another Ariete set, with a CBR logo. Two hours with a Dremel and a Creese fender eliminator bracket took care of the rear fender. I also added an attitude-laden tank pad from the UK's Motografix and a Nelson-Rigg tailbag.
Updated pics soon: Metzeler Sportecs, Zero Gravity Double-Bubble windscreen (clear), Vortex frame sliders have all been installed. A Givi topcase and rack will be coming in after the July 4th weekend, too.
Update from March 2007: After two very good years and over 50,000 miles' worth of urban warfare and out-of-state twisties-hunting, the CBR finally gave out on me at just over 67,000 miles, racing a Gixxer at about 150 miles an hour. She started blowing smoke and oil out of the exhaust, but still limped her way back home - this bike never me left me stranded. I have since sold her to someone who is already working on getting the motor rebuilt, and I am now on Bike No. 4.
I'll miss my CBR for a good long while.

Old and new: My trusty ol' Ninja, sitting cozily with the CBR for a few days before I rode up the EX to her new owner, up in Orlando. |

The Creese eliminator in place, along with the Ariete grips and the Motografix pad. Little things that make the bike more... mine. |
